FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar is the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup, the international men’s football mega tournament contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA after every four years. The FIFA World Cup 2022 is scheduled to be held in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arabian nation and the second World Cup entirely contested in Asia. 32 teams will participate in the tournament.

Total 32 qualified teams will participate in the tournament, and will be divided into eight groups of four teams. Total 64 matches will be played in the competition (48 matches in group stage, eight games in Round of 16, four quarter-finals, two semifinal’s, one third-place game and the grand final). Top two sides from each group (16 teams) will advance to the knockout stage, and from the round of 16, eight-team will enter into quarterfinals, and winner team of four quarterfinals will reach into the semifinals. The four teams will compete in the semifinal’s for the final spot and winning teams from both semifinal’s will enter to play the grand final.
